Job Description

  • Maintain and manage essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems to ensure a competitive advantage in the global marketplace.
  • Perform server administration tasks, such as user/group management, security permissions, group policies, and print services.
  • Research event-log warnings and errors and monitor resources to ensure seamless system architecture performance.
  • Install and configure software and hardware, including but not limited to Microsoft Azure Cloud, Hypervisors, and Kaspersky EDR (on-premises and cloud).
  • Manage network servers and technology tools, ensuring data security and efficient performance.
  • Set up accounts and workstations for employees, ensuring smooth onboarding processes.
  • Monitor system performance and maintain systems according to established requirements, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root causes and provide technical support when needed.
  • Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups, to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Implement and maintain security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and regular backups.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends to develop expertise and train staff on new technologies.
  • Create and maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies to enhance knowledge sharing within the organization.
  • Direct / Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Manage Microsoft365 Admin for Mails to ensure efficient communication and collaboration.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
  • Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Proven expertise in server administration, network management, and system maintenance.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Proxmox Hypervisors, Kaspersky EDR Server, and Basic Open-Source Admin knowledge is required.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
