Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing sales within a defined geographical region. This role focuses on developing sales strategies, managing field teams, strengthening distributor relationships, and achieving volume, revenue, and profitability targets. The ideal candidate must have strong FMCG experience, proven sales leadership, and the ability to drive performance in a competitive market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the regional sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.

  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with overall company strategy.

  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

  • Strengthen partnerships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts.

  • Ensure optimal route-to-market execution and product availability.

  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor execution and market opportunities.

  • Implement trade promotions and visibility plans in coordination with marketing.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.

  • Monitor and control trade spend, discounts, and pricing integrity.

  • Coach, train, and motivate sales representatives to improve capabilities and results.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Strong understanding of distribution models, trade channels, and retail dynamics.

  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Solid negotiation, commercial, and presentation capabilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent command of English and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the region.
